Update: June 2025

New ways to crunch Kill Team data.

I don’t keep a changelog or version history of this site (this project is a glorified hobby after all).

However, today’s update felt big enough to write about. Not only are there several new features rolled out, but I’m set up for some future releases that should continue to improve the quality and value of the app.

Let’s dive in.

Matchups

The first thing I want to highlight is the new Matchup Tool. Instead of just viewing team vs. team win rate data, now you can select a team and any combination of opponents to view the resulting win rate.

  • Wanna know how your team fares against Elites?
  • Interested to see what a team’s results are when those S-tier boogeymen are removed?
  • Still trying to argue AoD is actually OP?

Well, I can’t help you with that last one. But the first two are easy. Just head over to the Machups Page and play around with any combination of teams you want.

Event Filter

Next, the sub nav now contains data filters. You can choose to view All Events (I still only include events with a minimum of 8 players and 3 rounds) or filter the data by Competitive Events (Events with a minimum of 16 players and 4 rounds).

Additionally, you can choose to only view Classified Games. This feature does nothing right now, since all legal teams are still classified.

However, once James begins the culling, this button will filter out all games that include any declassified team (including opponents!). It will let you see what a classified-only meta looks like.

These filters work on every report. From Rankings to Matchups.

Future Road Map

Going forward, my next focus is on data transparency. There’s a lot that lurks beneath the surface of this data, and I want to try and make things as clear as possible. So here’s what I have in the pipeline:

  1. An event list display that will show you all events used in the selected dataset. You'll always be able to check which events made it in and which didn’t.
  2. An export feature. For all the stat nerds who want to do their own pretentious analysis.
  3. Some kind of FAQ that will briefly outline some of the technical details and reasoning (as much as I want everyone to read my articles, that simply isn’t going to happen).

I did end up dropping the monthly reports. CYRAC already covers the monthly statistics exhaustively on his YouTube Channel, so I don’t really feel the need to duplicate that effort.

The same data is still on this site, of course. Just within the quarterly datasets.

Well, that’s about it for now.

To all of you bored enough to read my articles, I thank you for your support! 🧐🥃
